《杀死一只知更鸟》美国电影协会评选的“100名银幕英雄与恶人”中，派克主演的芬奇律师名列英雄第一。他只其为黑人辩护的的独白有很长一段时间。据说派克在影片中有一场长达九分钟、为黑人汤姆的辩护场面，他慷慨陈言、异常动人，导演喊停的时候，整个摄制组都鼓起掌来。很多人还记得他面向陪审团的陈词：“在我们的国家，法庭是最重要的天平。在法庭上，所有的人都生而平等。“ 后来上大学我学的法律专业，这也是其中的一个原因，一个好的电影真能影响一个人的一生。
《当幸福来敲门》影片取材真实故事，主角是美国黑人投资专家。这部电影我看了好多次，当我进入社会后，感触颇深。You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves,they wanna tell you you can't do it.If you want something, go get it. Period.
如果你有梦想的话，就要去捍卫它。那些一事无成的人想告诉你你也成不了大器。如果你有理想的话，就要去努力实现。就这样。

本人最喜欢的一段台词，我把这段话刻在了我的课桌上，也不知道为什么。不知道那个桌子还在吗。
