此時此刻，我想給大家講一個故事，這是發生在元朝初期的故事。一個風和日麗的下午，一個年輕人跋山涉水，他走過居庸關，跨過蒙古草原，一直來到了正在關外帶兵作戰的成吉思汗的帳篷外，年輕人向衛兵說明來意後，衛兵仔細搜查了他的身上是否是武器，發現沒有，然後讓他走進帳篷。成吉思汗見來人很有禮貌，詢問之後才知道，原來這個年輕人是來投奔他的。這個年輕人叫做耶律楚才，是個契丹貴族，生長在燕京，也就是今天的北京，他的祖先耶律阿保機，是赫赫有名的遼國遼太祖。經過這次見面，成吉思汗給他安排了一個職位，一個每天寫會議紀要的書記官，偶爾也為蒙古貴族算算命，占卜占卜一下星相什麼的。耶律楚才沒有因為拒絕，他欣然接受了這個工作，後來，他從一個小小的官做到宰相，而且一做宰相就是元朝的名宰相，為元朝的發展做出了巨大的貢獻，也實現了自己的人生價值。
從這個故事當中，我意識到大學生找工作要從三個方面考慮，第一應該敢於主動去找工作，敢於主動去尋找機會就業；第二不要眼高手低，任何工作都需要持之以恆、工作是不分貴賤；第三，不要認為自己的起點高，就一定要從事高等的工作，放低自己才能找到合適的。現在的競爭很激烈，大學生有去洗腳有去做服務員的，每一份工作都是一個機會，機會也不是到處都有。我們大學生要真正走出象牙塔，就要主動出擊，主動尋找就業機會。有這樣一個現象，有的大學生抱怨自己沒有關系，抱怨父母不給安排好工作，在現在的社會，機會不是別人給的，而是自己去找的。每當機會降臨的時候，我們不能眼高手低，也不要吃著碗里的，看著鍋里的，任何工作我們都要任勞任怨，勤勤懇懇的堅持下去，總有一天，我們會得到社會的認可，用我們所寫的知識，實現自己的價值。
