I am proud of being a college student. I like my college life as it is so wonderful time in my youth. As being born in small village of the remote countryside, I didn't have a good ecation environment. However, I set a goal and felt confident to be a college student. After hard study, I passed the entrance examination of national college by excellent achievement. All people were proud of me, as I was the first college student in my village. I was farewell warmly by them when I came to school. I was warmly welcome by school, too. After then, I』 felt my study is not only for myself but also for the honor of my village neighborhood and our school.
The college life is wonderful. All life in school are fresh. New teachers, new classmates and fresh friends are around me. I』ve felt their friendship, wide knowledge and opening mind. The grand library, school buildings and wide playground are very attracting to me. I am very eager to learn much knowledge quickly. In high school, I was ever called as a runner before time. Now,I know I am behind time so much in fact. I hope to catch up with the time by my hard studying. Every day, you can see me get up early, doing exercise hard and go to school the first one. At night, I am the one who leaves away the library. The most interesting thing is that I can』t speak the PUTONGHUA well and made many funny events at the beginning， as I am from South. When I entered the classroom at first time, I was headache as I couldn』t understand what the professor was speaking. I met much difficulties at math, physics and other courses, even though I used to be good at these sciences. Therefore, I learn these courses myself after class. After three months, the exmination indicated that I overcame all the difficlties. I also improved my listening and spoken ability of Chinese quickly. Communication is very important to my college life. I study English hard as well. It makes me have many chances to communicate with foreigners. I made friends with many foreign teachers and students. From them, I learn many knowledge about foreign cultures. The computer room is another place I like to staying. I contact the outside world by the internet. All the News, advance science, and the information about internal and outside of China.
Besides study, my college life is also very colorful. I』d like to take any chance to improve my communication skill. I am the monitor and playing an active role in class and school. Last year, I organized a speech match in management department. All the classmates were very interested in this kind of activity. I learned from them much about their hometown, their knowledge and opinions. At the same time, I shew my beautiful hometown to everyone. In school, I take care all the classmates around me. I am so poor e to from the romote countryside. The school pay most the fee for my ecation. I feel very happy. However, I know some classmates are poorer than me. I am willing to care them and encourage each other.

we don't have to have a strong physical body in order to be a hero, what we need is mental strength and courage. the stereotypical hero image portraits a man or woman with brute physical strength, however this image is not what all heroes look like. a hero is someone who sticks to his/her beliefs and sacrifices himself/herself in some aspects in order to help others or the society. according to the text, a hero saves others or the society, even the civilization sometimes. a hero also teaches other people meaningful things through his/her actions. we don't need to do anything heroic to be a hero, all we need to do is help others in any way we can and do some positive things to the society.
definitions of hero: 1. a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
2. a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal
in order to help others around the neighborhood, we can help them carry heavy things to their houses(apartments), help their kids study when they need help with school stuff, and just look out for each other in general.
when someone is having trouble with his/her studies, we can offer help, but we cannot encourage them to cheat(therefore, i do not advise you 2 use my words or 2 plagarize, u should alter them a little).
as for keeping the environment in good shape, we should pick up after ourselves, and just pick up trash that we see around in general. also, we should drive cars less (if that applies to you).
in order to contribute to the society, we need to try our best and put our efforts into things, we can't be lazy and think that other people will do things for us and that there are other people to contribute to the society. the society depends on every single one of us, if i don't do anything, you don't do anything, she doesn't do anything, he doesn't do anything, then who will do anything?

Secondly ,responsibity is always on our shoulder.there is no doubt that we graally shoulder more thing .when in my senior 2, my brother have asked me ,which thing made you most depressived.i clearly remembered my answer,my physics grade improved from 22 to 60.my brother luaghed to me .till now ,I know it』s the thing with responsibity .
this winter vacation ,my father held a birthday party for me . at the middle ,some customers asked my father to attent the meeting ,but ,he rejected.he instit on staying.i asked why ,father respond to me ,this is respondsibility, just for a family. if I couldn』t keep a promise fot my family ,what I can do for my staffs?
From that day ,I learnd how to be the true respondsibility man ,keep promise to the thing firmly. i hope ,in no longer,I can be that .
Thirdly, to be on time. from the first day set foot in the school,my mather reminded me of being on time .no matter when raining or sunny,no matter I am health or not,my mather deliver me to school on time everyday. when I was in fever, my mather would sent me to 診所,then ,right away to school.to shtudy.

Man』s life is a process of growing up, actually I』m standing here is a growth. If a person』s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that』s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me.
When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. My First Day on Campus-
I still remember the day when I first came to the college. Being a boy of 17, I was longing for a new life as a college student:hut, at the same time I had no idea what college life would be like.
That morning when the bus carried me to the gate of the college, I was so excited that my heart was beating very fast as if it would leap out of my mouth. From now on,I would be a student of this college. After registration,we were led by an instructor to the dormitory,where,for the first time, we were going to live without our parents but with roommates. I was so clumsy that I did not know how to make the bed and fix the mosquito net.
In the afternoon, I took a walk around the campus together with my roommates. To think of studying in such a beautiful place made me feel quite proud of myself. As we were walking along, talking and laughing, a voice came into our ears, "Oh,look at these freshmen!" It was our middleschool-students' looks that gave us away. We continued our tour of the college,inspecting every building and every garden until the sun began to set.
In the evening,we sat together, talking about the past and the future. We were so excited that no one wanted to go to bed.

My college life
As a sophomore, I am feeling the time flies. Recalling about the past one year, so many thoughts are flooding in my mind. At this time, I just can』t tell my real idea. The memory is just like so fresh, and all the things happened yesterday!
When first day I came to University, I really feel that the school is very good, but at the first sight of the dormitory, something disappointing come up to me! The condition of the dormitory is really very poor with only one room, no lavatory! I saw something sad in my father』s eyes, maybe that time he thought of the poor condition! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here, I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don』t know why. Everyday when I was at home, I was just eager to go to school, to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here, I am just eager to go back! It』s quite strange though, you must know this kind of feeling!
Just spending about 2 days here, we were on our way to military train. To us, it』s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me, I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. So, you know, it』s just this kind of feeling I can』t convey it clearly! The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities, for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. At that time, I felt myself so little among them. All of them have a special talent but not me. I admired them but meanwhile jealousy. Why don』t I have this kind of talent? Am I stupid? I always said to myself. So that time I was also very ambitious, just eager to catch up with them. Except the classmates, the trainer in our team also left a deep impression on me! He was not very handsome and very kind. Just because of his kindness results in my laughter when training. He always said to me that I should be serious in the team but I didn』t listen to him. So after a long time, when investigating the training result, I gave them a disappointing answer. The highest trainer sent me to clean the toilet, although, it didn』t means insulting to my dignity, but I was really sad about myself and my heart was hurt. That was a small thing but told me that I need to be serious to one thing. And unhappiness passed, the happy and funny time recalled me that folding the blanket. Yeah, it』s really very funny. Most of us had never folded the blanket and naturally we can』t accomplish the task well. When the monitor came, we pleased him to help us to fold the blanket. To our expect, we managed to persuade the monitor. After the monitor finished the task for me. I dared not to touch the blanket again and just used the clothes instead of the blanket. Of course, I felt very cold in deep night, so to my instinct, I crashed into my classmate』s blanket. And we were scratching the single blanket fiercely, just like a war.

Not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.
Frankly speaking, i don't quite agree with them.Indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. (examples).But why can't we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture.
There are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. On the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don't have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father's day and april fool's day etc. On the other hand,the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. Overwhelmed by such a trend,chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.
With the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important. We are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth.The only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? The answer is definitely no. What we ought to do is to spare no effort to ecate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. Only by ecating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture. Only by ecating can we play a really important role in the world.
