詩歌能被翻譯嗎

在歐洲,少數人認為詩歌是不能翻譯的:(1)義大利作家(如埃科)所引用的熟語—譯者即背叛者(trattore, traditore. 上陽宮是唐朝皇帝建在洛陽的一個行宮,開元天寶年間,宮女數量激增,很多美女被安置到各個行宮,作為嬪妃儲備基地,上陽宮即為其中之一。但是由於楊貴妃的專寵,她們的結局其實已經註定,那就是一輩子都沒有機會見皇帝,在日復一日的期盼中老死行宮,這也就是《上陽宮望幸》題目的意思。除了劉長卿,杜甫、元稹、白居易等人都寫過上陽宮人為題材的詩歌,傷感這些女子的遭遇,後來很多人還上書請求皇帝釋放超齡宮女出宮。
言歸正題:玉輦西巡久未還,春光猶入上陽間:
皇帝巡幸西方,久久不回,上陽宮還是年年迎來春光。(西巡是唐代文人對唐玄宗在安史之亂時逃出長安避難入蜀客氣的說法,唐玄宗的逃跑意味著他政治生命的告終,這些為他准備的美女結局可知。但是對於宮女們來說,皇帝一天沒有駕崩,似乎還有渺茫的希望。)
萬木長承新雨露,千門空對舊河山。
春回大地,草木被雨露滋潤,重煥生機。可是宮中百千的宮女們打開門,看到的還是去年一樣的景物,沒有一點新的消息。(雨露有雙關意,古代宮中嬪妃被皇帝寵幸,叫做恩承雨露,這里用對比的寫法,感嘆花草樹木都可以得到大自然的恩澤,年年春天煥發生機,被關閉在深宮中的宮女們卻無人垂憐,任由光陰虛擲,辜負青春,人可憐起來還不如草木。)
深花寂寂宮城閉,細草青青御路閑。
深寂的宮中,宮花卻開得燦爛錦簇;車馬絕跡的御道上長滿了細草。(用春光中富有生機的花草來反襯行宮的寂寥荒廢,希望一天天少下去,結局似乎已經在眼前,兩句突出宮女們的痛苦無奈。)

被禁錮的呆板生活中,唯一自由和有點變化的就是天上的雲彩了,你看它們飛來飛去,不肯停歇,難道也是在為等待皇帝駕臨做准備嗎?(徹底的失望固然令人嘆息,但是詩人結尾筆鋒一轉,借行宮宮人的目光所及,轉為寫天上雲彩,以擬人化的手法,寫活了宮女們對自由的渴望,對改變命運尚存的期冀。讓讀者更動容於她們在一片死寂中的苦苦掙扎,痛澈心脾。)
