李白，大家都很熟悉，唐朝著名的浪漫主義詩人，被譽為「詩仙」。他的《靜夜思》更是耳熟能詳。小時候剛學古詩的時候，除《鵝鵝鵝》之外，李白的《靜夜思》肯定是第一被記住的。今天，小編查找到幾個不同英文版本的《靜夜思》，在這里我們一起來欣賞一下。

我們首先來看許淵沖先生的譯文：
Thoughts on a Tranquil Night
Before my bed a pool of light—
O can it be hoar-frost on the ground?
Looking up, I find the moon bright;
Bowing, in homesickness I』m drowned.
Notes: Seeing a pool of moonlight, the poet is drowned in the pond of homesickness.

接下來是楊憲益先生和戴乃迭先生的譯文：
Thoughts in the Silent Night
Beside my bed a pool of light—

I lift my eyes and see the moon,

在小編看來，許淵沖先生的譯文更准確的表達出了遊子的思鄉之情，用了homesickness。
再來看一下趙甄陶先生的：
Quiet Night Thoughts
Moonlight before my bed,
Could it be frost instead?
Head up, I watch the moon;
Head down, I think of home.
他的譯文與漢語詩字數最接近，因為用了head up和head down也保存了原詩的修辭和韻律效果，但是在小編看來顯得很機械，不靈活。
外國對中國詩詞愛好者也有翻譯過的，其中我們來看一下Witter Bynner的譯文：
In the Quiet Night
So bright a gleam on the foot of my bed—
Could there have been a frost already?
Lifting myself to look, I found that it was moonlight.
Sinking back again, I thought suddenly of home.
這個版本的譯文，朱炳蓀先生稱贊「英譯頗有獨到之處，深刻地表達了原作中日夜思鄉的惆悵之感，而在層次安排文字運用上更是加深了異鄉孤兒對月哀愁之情。」但是小編也有不用見解。其中這個home還是沒有更表達出思鄉之情；對」床前」譯為「on the foot of my bed「，不是很准確。在小編看來，這幾個版本中，覺得許淵沖先生的最為貼切。

《靜夜思》流傳有兩種版本，一個版本為：「床前明月光，疑是地上霜。舉頭望明月，低頭思故鄉。」出自《唐詩三百首》，為明代版本，是流傳比較廣泛的版本。
另一版本為宋代版本，載於宋蜀刻本《李太白文集》（卷六）：「床前看月光，疑是地上霜。舉頭望山月，低頭思故鄉。」流傳不廣。兩種版本中，有兩個字的出入。
宋人上距李白生時比之《唐詩三百首》的編者年代上要近得多，因此一般認為，宋代版本比明代版本更接近李白的原作，但仍有學者認為可能存在更早的版本。
宋刊本的《李太白文集》、宋人郭茂倩所編的《樂府詩集》、洪邁所編《萬首唐人絕句》中，《靜夜思》的第一句均為「床前看月光」，第三句也均作「舉頭望山月」。
