❶ 專八的翻譯要怎樣提高

第一 翻譯中遵循的標准
忠實
忠於文章原文的內容，也包括思想、感情、風格等，即把原文完整、准確地在譯文中表達出來， 且譯文風格上應與原文保持一致
通順
譯文的用詞應正確得體， 行文流暢，復核目標語的表達習慣，沒有逐字逐句的死譯貨生搬硬套，不會因僵化的「翻譯腔」而使譯文讀起來晦澀難懂，譯文語言自然、達意，具有可讀性。
第二 理解和表達
一：理解原文-------忠實 理解是表達的前提，沒有正確的理解就沒有正確的表達。考生應該理解原文中的詞法和句法結構、修辭手法，以及原文中涉及的文化背景知識等。
如：（1）我的導師是亞裔人，嗜煙好酒 (1997)。
[原譯] My advisor, an Asian, was addicted to alcohols and cigarettes.
[改譯] My advisor, an Asian American, was addicted to alcohols and cigarettes.
(2) Among prominent summer deaths, one recalls those of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, whose lives seemed equally brief and complete.
在著名的英年早逝者中，我們會想起瑪麗蓮·夢露和詹姆斯·迪恩，他們的生命都是既短暫又圓滿的。
(3) We sometimes fall in with persons who have much of the world, and of the men who, in their day, have played a conspicuous part in it, but who generalize nothing, and have no observation, in the sense of the word.
有時候我們遇到的一些人，這些人涉世很深， 也見過那些春風得意時曾在世上轟轟烈烈干過一番事業的人物，然而他們對什麼都不善於歸納，也沒有真正的觀察力。

二：譯文表達—通順、流暢
表達是建立在理解的基礎上的，用通順、流暢的語言准確傳達原文信息的過程，能充分體現譯者的語言功底和翻譯水平。但這個過程實非易事。考試可以從下面幾個方面進行訓練。
1） 聯繫上下文確定詞語的含義
2） 字詞的表達要有分寸，不能隨意發揮；要注意詞義的褒貶性，切忌無尺度刪減。
3） 用活用詞典，決不可生搬硬套。
4） 在准確傳達原文信息的同時要恰當體現原文風格。
例：(1) Death in old age is rarely called untimely—a long life is thought to be a full one. (2000) [原譯] 老年人到年紀很老了才死很少被認為死的不是時候，因為人們一般認為長壽著圓滿。 [改譯] 老年人因年邁而終很少被認為死不逢時，因為人們一般認為長壽意味著生命的圓滿。
(2) Reagan has succeeded more than any president since John F. Kennedy in projecting a broad vision of America—a nation of renewed military strength, indivial initiative, and smaller federal government.(1996)
自約翰肯•F•尼迪總統以來，里根是最成功地勾勒出美國藍圖的總統：那就是，一個軍事力量更加強大、更富有個人進取心、聯邦政府更見精簡的國家。
(3) 我認為最好的釣魚場所不是舒適的、給你准備好餓魚的垂釣園，而是那極其有吸引力的大自然野外天成的場所。（2001） To me, the ideal place for fishing are not the cozy fishing gardens, where hungry fish is in store, but the most fascinating natural places.
(4) 旅遊搭台，經貿唱戲，形成本市獨特的經濟開發格局。
The city』s economy should be developed into a pattern of its own features with tourism paving the way for economy and trade as the activities.
本題的難點是譯出原文中的比喻，「搭台」和「唱戲」，直譯為：…with tourism as the stage and economy and trade as the actors」，這讓沒看原文的讀者感到費解，實際則為「搭台」為打前站，「唱戲」為主要工作。舍型取義
第三 直譯和意譯
以「忠實、通順」為原則，能直譯就直譯，不能直譯就意譯；既能直譯又能意譯的，應以直譯為主。
純粹的直譯只是少數，大多需要不同程度的意譯。
一、直譯實例
(1) With the faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to the jail together, to stand up for freedom together.
懷著這個信念，我們就能一起工作，一起祈禱，一同斗爭，一同坐牢，一起爭取自由。
(2) Seeing that this lady was dressed entirely in white silk and her charm was such as to overthrow cities and kingdoms, General Zilong asked Fan, his advisor, 「Who is she?」
子龍見婦人身穿縞素， 有傾國傾城之色，乃問范曰：「此乃何人也？」（羅貫中《三國演義》第52回）
(3) It is essential to persist in using methods as a drizzle and as gentle as a breeze, and adhere to the formula of 「unity-criticism-unity」, in dealing with contradictions among the people.
處理人民內部矛盾，必須堅持和風細雨的方法，堅持「團結-批評-團結」的方法。（鄧小平《關於整風運動的報告》）
二、意譯實例
（1）One boy is a boy, two boys half a boy, three boys no boy. 一個和尚有水喝，兩個和尚抬水喝，三個和尚沒水喝。
（2）My rest might have beenblissful enough, only a sad heart broke it. It plained of its gaping wounds, its inward bleeding, its riven chords. It trembled for Mr. Rochester and his doom; it bemoaned him with bitter pity; it demanded him with ceaseless longing; and, important as a bird with both wings broken, it still quivered its shattered pinions in vain attempts to seek him.
Blissful: very happy; full of joy
Plain: complain抱怨; 哀悼
Rive：split or tear apart violently
Chord：和弦；心弦
Bemoan：為。。。感到哀嘆，惋惜

Source在句子里可以理解為來源
