故事講述的是阿姆抄的一個叫Stan的歌迷，非常喜歡阿姆，給阿姆寫過很多信，但由於郵遞員的疏忽，導致阿姆一直沒有回成信，Stan悲痛欲絕，最終走上了絕路，後來阿姆找到了那封信，但已經晚了，於是阿姆寫了這首歌曲，歌曲前半段全是信的內容，後面為阿姆自己的感慨。副歌部分取自英國歌星蒂朵（Dido）的《Thank you》。 自己結合歌曲MV就能看懂這首歌曲的內容。
